It is fall now. Libby - "Cheney's
Cheney" has been indicted. Out West, if there were
Aspens in Seattle they would be turning.
Instead, with the all that's finally in the press, it's my stomach that's
turning....
Libby's Letter If you're wondering why I started my post as I did. Here is the peculiar last paragraph of I. Lewis Libby's (Dick Cheney's ex top advisor involved in the CIA leak case) letter to Judith Miller when she was in jail, most likely in jail protecting him.Here's what he wrote: Sept 16, 2005 You went into jail in the summer. It is fall now. You will have stories to cover - Iraqi elections and suicide bombers, biological threats and the Iranian Nuclear program. Out West, where you vacation, the aspens will already be turning. They turn in clusters, because their roots connect them. Come back to work - and life.
