I am surprised (stunned, distraught, rending my clothing &
wringing my hands) at some of the things that our media barely covers, if at
all - and those are the things you will find on this website. If you want to
see the blurb of why I started this site it's

The Iraq war has
changed the way I think about the government. It is a reason I felt it
was so important to vote George W Bush out of office (which didn't happen). My fact finding
uncovered a lot of unpleasant truths. On a variety of things, either not covered or
under-reported in the press. |

I know it seems implausible but look at who is part of
this think-tank, what
their mission is and what we have just gone and done! It is outrageous and
even though it was mentioned a few times in the press, the agenda these guys
had for so long was drowned out by the loud thrumming of WMD going off
in every other interview and article. Hard to beat - all that fear.

I started this Website Because: |
|
In October of 2003 I adopted two kittens from the
local animal shelter.
They were interested in napping, eating and anything that moved.
They were not interested in war, politics or the upcoming presidential
election.
The war in Iraq was still bloody (as it remains today, over a 2 years
later) and the innocence of the kittens rendered it in stark contrast. It
was the juxtaposition of my joy at watching them play and my despair at
the constant bleak news that prompted this page. |
